Betwa

        Rising from Madan Sagar near Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Betwa river first touches district Lalitpur near Dhojri village and is joined by Narain river at the same point. Betwa flows northward to make the districts westerm boundary and turns north-east forming its boundary with Jhansi district. It flows a length of about 58 kms. in tehsil Lalitpur and about 40 kms. in tehsil Talbehat of district Lalitpur.
