Wainganga

        It is one of the most important rivers of the District. It rises from the hill above Partabpur in Seoni District. The length of the river in the district is 98 Km. And the average width  is about 250 Metres. The main tributory of the Wainganga is Bagh  river.  The  river flows pass the  district town and crosses  the  southern boundary at Borinda. The water of Wainganga is utilised for drinking purposes.
