Gomati
Ø The water quality downstream of
Mohan Meakens in river Gomati was below B quality DBU
with DO values <5.0 and BOD values >3.0 upto
Ø During 2010 the BOD values in the
entire stretch remained above 3.0 mg/l indicating no improvement in water
quality.
The
projects on Gomti have not been completed so
far. Therefore, it is not possible to
evaluate the impact. But the pollution
in the cities has been increasing.
Therefore, worsening of the parameters is expected.
